Reminder: Applications Due Tomorrow for Scholarships to NCJFCJ 83rd Annual Virtual Conference
The Children’s Commission is offering a limited number of scholarships for qualifying Texas judges to attend the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges’ (NCJFCJ) 83rd Annual Conference that will be held virtually on July 19-22, 2020. More information about this year’s conference is available on the NCJFCJ 83rd Annual Virtual Conference website.
To be eligible for a scholarship, applicants must hear civil child welfare cases. Additionally, all applicants must agree to participate in the virtual training by attending the live sessions and/or the archived sessions no later than August 28, 2020 and complete a post-event survey from the Children’s Commission. Preference is given to judges who have larger percentages of their docket dedicated to child welfare cases. More information about scholarship criteria and logistics is available on the judicial scholarships page of the Children’s Commission website.
