The Children’s Commission, in partnership with the Texas Center for the Judiciary (TCJ), will host the 15th Annual Child Welfare Judges Conference at the Sheraton Austin Georgetown Hotel and Conference Center in Georgetown, Texas, in October 2022. The program will start with a pre-conference session for Child Protection Court judges and their court coordinators on the morning of Monday, October 24. All judges are welcome to attend the Child Welfare Judges Conference which will begin midday on Monday, October 24 and end midday on Wednesday, October 26.
Registration for the conference is now open and is limited to judges who hear civil child welfare cases. Child Protection Court judges should plan to attend the pre-conference meeting with their coordinators and are requested to add the "pre-conference" option when registering. Separate information and a registration link will be forthcoming for coordinators.
There is no registration fee to attend the pre-conference or the conference. The conference curriculum will provide a minimum of 13 CJE and 13 FV hours. Please look for additional announcements about the agenda and speakers.
