In partnership with the Texas Center for the Judiciary (TCJ), the Children’s Commission will host the 19th annual Child Welfare Judges Conference (CWJC) on October 26-28, 2026 in Georgetown, Texas. The conference program will begin at 9 am on Monday, October 26 and conclude at noon on Wednesday, October 28. Registration is now open for judges who handle civil child welfare cases; there is no registration fee to attend.



The schedule and information regarding travel reimbursement are available upon registration. Additional information, including the complete agenda as well as details about Continuing Judicial Education and Family Violence credit hours, will be shared on the TCJ website prior to the conference.
