The Children’s Commission, in partnership with the Texas Center for the Judiciary, will host the 18th annual Child Welfare Judges Conference (CWJC) on October 27-29, 2025 in Georgetown, Texas. The conference will kick off on Sunday, October 26, 2025 with a Welcome Reception and Networking Opportunity from 5-6 pm. The conference will conclude at noon on Wednesday, October 29. Registration is now open for judges who handle civil child welfare cases and there is no registration fee to attend. The conference provides opportunities for judicial education, networking, and engagement through both fundamental and innovative presentations.

The At a Glance Agenda and information regarding travel reimbursement is available upon registration. Additional announcements including the complete agenda as well as information about Continuing Judicial Education and Family Violence credit hours will be shared prior to the conference.
