August 11: Noon – 2 p.m. ET
The Ensuring Justice in Child Welfare Summit being held next week – August 10th & 11th – is inviting all interested people in the nation’s court community to participate – now that the summit is being held virtually. This summit is a follow-up to one held in September 2019 in Minneapolis which brought together teams from courts around the country child welfare experts to identify solutions to improving the child welfare system.
The Ensuring Justice in Child Welfare Summit is convening leadership teams from courts and the child welfare agency to attend a series of online presentations focused on strategies to support racial justice in the child welfare system.
The summit aims to focus participants’ and stakeholders’ efforts on racial justice and develop strategies that strengthen families, prevent unnecessary removal of children.
