Upcoming CPS Webinar on September 16th: LGBTQ and Race Equity Part II
Child Protective Services created a webinar series dedicated to exploring issues related to racial and ethnic disparities in the child welfare system. On Wednesday, September 16, 2020, from 1:30 to 2:45 p.m. CST, the webinar topic will be “LGBTQ and Race Equity II.” This workshop is a continuation of last year’s discussion on LGBTQ and race equity. This second part of the discussion assembles a panel of advocates to discuss advocacy for youth and parents, trauma, and the disproportionate outcomes for LGBTQ youth and LGBTQ youth of color.
