NACC Opens 2nd Call for Comments on Draft Recommendations for Legal Representation of Children and Youth

Over the last year, NACC’s Youth Advisory Board, staff and Board of Directors have worked closely to co-design a revised version of 2001 Recommendations for Representation of Children in Abuse and Neglect Cases. Thank you to the many individuals and organizations that participated in our first call for comments – your insights were invaluable to shaping this work. NACC is now opening a second call for comments to share the current draft with members and solicit additional input. Individuals and organizations are invited to review the draft Recommendations and submit comments over the next 30 days, and no later than August 8, 2021. Note: these draft Recommendations have not been approved by the NACC Board of Directors and, accordingly, should not be construed as representing an adopted policy of the National Association of Counsel for Children. Thank you for being a part of the NACC community. Together, we are Promoting Excellence, Building Community, and Advancing Justice.
