Upcoming CPS Webinar on September 16th: LGBTQ and Race Equity Part II
Child Protective Services created a webinar series dedicated to exploring issues related to racial and ethnic disparities in the child welfare system. On Wednesday, September 16, 2020, from 1:30 to 2:45 p.m. CST, the webinar topic will be “LGBTQ and Race Equity II.” This workshop is a continuation of last year’s discussion on LGBTQ and race equity. This second part of the discussion assembles a panel of advocates to discuss advocacy for youth and parents, trauma, and the disproportionate outcomes for LGBTQ youth and LGBTQ youth of color. If you missed part one of the discussion, it can be found here.
