The Ensuring Justice in Child Welfare Summit was held virtually on August 10-11, 2020. The purpose of the summit was to convene leadership teams from courts and the child welfare agency to focus on strategies to support racial justice in the child welfare system, including strengthening families and preventing unnecessary removal of children.

The summit was sponsored by the National Center for State Courts, the Conference of State Court Administrators, Casey Family Programs, the Children’s Bureau, and the Annie E. Casey Foundation. Recordings and materials from both days of the summit are now available online.
