Suicide Care Initiative
The Texas Health and Human Services Commission’s Suicide Prevention Team has launched a Suicide Care Initiative (SCI). This initiative offers several evidence-based suicide prevention trainings that are available to your organizations, contractors, or other interested stakeholders.
This PowerPoint presentation describes the various suicide prevention trainings currently available through SCI. Some of the trainings are offered directly by HHSC’s Suicide Prevention Team, and others are offered through the Regional Suicide Care Support Centers throughout the year. For more information about bringing these trainings to your agency, email suicideprevention@hhs.texas.gov.
