New Rules from the Administration for Children and Families

Focus on Support and Resources for Children and Families

The Administration for Children and Families (ACF) recently published a final regulation and two notices of proposed regulations memorandums (NPRMs) in the Federal Register. The Children’s Bureau (CB) will hold a separate information session on each rulemaking for state and tribal title IV-E agencies and the public at the following date and times. No advance registration is required for the information sessions. The three rules will support kinship caregivers and LGBTQI+ children in foster care as well as expand access to legal representation for children and families in the child welfare system.
