Reminder: Scholarship Applications Due this Friday, May 26

for TexasBarCLE CAN Workshop and NACC 46th Annual Conference

The Children’s Commission is offering the following conference scholarships this summer:

 

  • for attorneys to attend the 2023 TexasBarCLE’s one-day Child Abuse and Neglect Workshop, in-person and virtual options as detailed below; and
  • for judges and attorneys to attend the National Association of Counsel for Children (NACC) 46th National Child Welfare Law Conference, on August 10-12, 2023 in Minneapolis, MN.

 

The final date to submit an application for either scholarship opportunity is midnight Friday, May 26, 2023. More information and links to apply are below.

Attorney Scholarships for

TexasBarCLE's Child Abuse and Neglect Workshop

The 2023 TexasBarCLE one-day Child Abuse and Neglect (CAN) Workshop will be held live on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, as an in-person event in San Antonio, Texas, with one virtual webcast replay on September 22, and two video replays which will take place in Dallas on September 22 and in South Padre Island in October 2023. The Children’s Commission is offering 100 registration scholarships to attorneys to attend the 2023 CAN Workshop on one of the dates listed above.

Judicial and Attorney Scholarships for

NACC 46th National Child Welfare Law Conference

The Children’s Commission is offering up to 10 reimbursement scholarships to judges and attorneys to attend the in-person National Association of Counsel for Children (NACC) 46th National Child Welfare Law Conference on August 10-12, 2023 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. More information about the conference is available on the NACC website.
