New Report on Child Welfare Representation from Texas Indigent Defense Commission

The Texas Indigent Defense Commission began collecting data from counties about court-appointed legal representation in child welfare cases on November 1, 2021. The Fiscal Year 2021 Report on Court-Appointed Legal Representation in Texas Child Protection Cases is now complete and available to the public. The report contains statewide information on expenditures, appointment plans, fee schedules, and other procedures relating to court-appointed legal representation. The report is now available on the TIDC website.
