Attorney Scholarships for

TexasBarCLE's Child Abuse and Neglect Workshop

The 2025 Advanced Family Law one-day Child Abuse and Neglect (CAN) Workshop will be held live on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 as an in-person event in San Antonio, Texas. The workshop will also be accessible as in-person video replay in Dallas on September 12, 2025 and in Houston on October 31, 2025. Additionally, there are two virtual webcast replays, held on September 12 and November 21, 2025. The Children’s Commission is offering up to 75 registration scholarships to attorneys to attend the 2025 CAN Workshop on one of the dates listed above. The scholarship will take the form of waived registration fees to attend the CAN Workshop only and not the full Advanced Family Law Course. The Children’s Commission is not able to reimburse attorneys who pay the State Bar of Texas directly for registration to attend the CAN Workshop.

 

For more information about the scholarship and to submit an application, please visit the Children’s Commission Scholarships webpage. The scholarship application for the CAN Workshop will close at midnight on Thursday, June 26, 2025. 

 

Please note that the registration fee for the CAN Workshop is waived for Texas judges. Judges wishing to attend the CAN Workshop should contact TexasBarCLE directly.
