Important Learning System Transition
Workday LEARNING – Coming This Spring
Coworkers,
Learning systems play a key role in helping our organization to meet regulatory compliance and complete essential education. They also support our journey toward continuous improvement and help us to provide a safe environment, high-quality outcomes for patients, and development for coworkers.
We’ve previously shared that Franciscan will be transitioning to a new learning platform. Many Franciscan team members continue working hard to prepare for this transition, and now we’re excited to share a look at what’s ahead this spring.
What’s changing?

Learning system transition from Learning Compass to Workday Learning, a tool/app within our Workday platform.
Why the change?
- Improved user interface and navigation experience.
- Paves way to maximize the benefits of learning and talent management tools offered in Workday.
- Simplification & Stewardship. Retiring Learning Compass eliminates a system to manage and aligns with Franciscan’s “Workday-first” strategy.
