Good morning and Happy Day After St. Patrick's Day!
Now that the watch party for the Federal Government signing the funding bill concluded last week, it's time to shift our attention back to the current legislative slate occurring here in California. As part of the DVBA's core mission and goals, monitoring the plethora of introduced bills each session requires careful review to see what will potentially be beneficial or harmful to the industry. James Brownyard, VP Legislative & Governmental Affairs has compiled a link connection to each of our regional representatives and this year's bills that they have introduced for session. Of course, these bills have to be thoroughly reviewed by a number of committees in each respective house of origin before any votes can occur, as well as many may have significant changes or amendments. With the session just getting under way there will be lots more to come, so stay tuned!
