Celebrate the cultural diversity of our community at the 22nd Annual Multicultural Festival! Stop by the Talbot County Free Library booth to learn more information about upcoming events, the seed library, and books to enjoy! You will also have the opportunity to join friends, artists & performers, and community groups in celebrating our community's music, dance, art, crafts, games, food, and more. The Festival celebrates diversity by providing events that positively showcase cultural differences and encourages people to share and celebrate in unity.

An event where the community will have the opportunity to learn about BAAM and other resources that are available to families and children. A fun-filled day with music performed by The Exclusives band as well as other activities for children and the young at heart. Talbot County Free Library will also be there, so stop by to learn about resources and upcoming programs. We will also be featuring our Idea Box where you will have the chance to tell us what you would like to see the library do in the future that will enhance how we serve the community!

Sharing Our Memories

If you have been thinking about writing your memoirs but don't know how or where to get started, this Zoom class is for you! During sessions, each participant will share their 500-word essay assigned during the prior session. Writing takes place at home, and stories will be read and discussed during class time. This ongoing course meets on the second and fourth Monday of the month, 10:30 a.m. - noon. To register, call the library at 410-822-1626. Upon registration, you will receive a Zoom invitation and a writing assignment which will be read and discussed during the next session
