Friday, July 17, noon - "Picture Book Fridays" with Carmen Agra Deedy , the Collaborative Summer Library Program's National Summer Reading Champion! Carmen, who speaks both Spanish and English, will share stories for families on Fridays at Noon (ET) throughout the summer on her Facebook page.

While the library branches remain closed for now, don't forget the myriad of eResources available through the library's website. Stream and download eBooks, eAudiobooks, movies, music, and more on your devices through hoopla and Libby . Learn a new craft or start a new project with access to 1000+ video classes through Creativebug. New classes are released every day with downloadable patterns, templates, and recipes. Master a new language - more than 70 to choose from - through Mango Languages, research your genealogy, or take classes through Gale Courses to learn a new skill. These and so much more available free of charge with your library card. Enjoy!
Maryland Public Television’s  Summer On! 

MPT invites you to day-camp from home this summer with cool crafts and activities from PBS KIDS. Their fun weekly themes will keep kids ages 2-8 laughing, crafting, and learning with Counselor Krissy. Camps are arranged in seven weekly themes to support parents and caregivers in creating a backyard day camp. Some of the themes include Dig Into Dinosaurs, Explore Space, Cooking Up Fun, and All About Animals.
 
MPT also offers daily activities through PBS KIDS block to help turn Viewing to Doing!
