Milwaukee Amateur Pool League Announces New Venue at Shepherds on Schlinger

Emphasizing Community and Excellence in a Fresh Setting

Milwaukee, WI – The American Poolplayers Association Milwaukee is excited to announce that, effective immediately, our league nights previously hosted by Romine’s High Pockets will be hosted at Shepherds on Schlinger, located at 8924 W Schlinger Ave, West Allis, WI 53214.

Why Shepherds on Schlinger?

Shepherds on Schlinger is renowned for its welcoming atmosphere and dedication to the sport of billiards. The establishment offers:

• Quality Pool Facilities: Well-maintained Diamond pool tables available for free practice until 6:30 PM, with league play commencing promptly at 7:00 PM.
• Community-Centric Policies: While food options are limited, patrons are welcome to bring in outside food. However, we kindly ask that all beverages, both soft and alcoholic, be purchased on-site as a gesture of appreciation for Shepherds' hospitality.
• Affordability: Table fees are set at $1.25 per game, with costs to be amicably shared between opposing players. Quarter changers are available onsite for your convenience.

A Legacy of Billiards Excellence

We are honored to align with an establishment co-owned by Kevin Stanelle, a distinguished figure in the billiards community. Kevin's illustrious career includes being ranked among the top ten money earners in the 1980s and earning a place in the Wisconsin Billiards Hall of Fame. His ongoing commitment to the sport enriches our league's experience. We trust that he and his business partner, Corn, will provide the excellence in service and hospitality that we expect and appreciate.

Continuity and Community

Our league schedule will continue Mondays and Tuesdays, maintaining the camaraderie and competitive spirit that define our community. We acknowledge that change can be challenging, but we firmly believe that "pool isn't about the place we play but the people that make this hobby more than a game. We make it the community it deserves to be."

As we embark on this new chapter, we warmly invite new players to join our league. Whether you're a seasoned player or a curious beginner, our community offers support, competition, and friendship. You, the players, already know how much fun and excitement you get to experience on league night.
