In accordance with the San Diego County Public Health Order, beginning Wednesday, August 26, all persons entering the Grossmont and Cuyamaca College campuses will be required to have a temperature check taken every time they enter the campus.
When you arrive at campus, please immediately proceed to the temperature check station near your class. For students with on-campus classes, temperature checks will be available in Building 34 and Building 60.
When you arrive at campus, please immediately proceed to one of the temperature check stations. We recommend that students arrive at least 15 minutes early to campus to complete a temperature check before their class starts. Be sure to wear a face covering!
Students who are taking a class that meets on campus, you are strongly encouraged to take your temperature and do a self-check of any
COVID-19 symptoms at home. If you have a temperature of 100.0
or more, or show any other COVID-19 symptoms, do not come to campus.
For students with on-campus classes, temperature checks will be available in Building 34 and Building 60.
As a reminder, the college campuses are open only to students taking a course with class meetings being held on campus, faculty members teaching those courses, and other essential employees who are permitted to be on campus. Members of the general public are not allowed on the campuses.
If your temperature is less than 100.0 degrees, you will be given a wristband that you must wear while on campus. If your temperature is over 100.0 degrees, you will not be permitted on campus per the directive from the County Public Health Services Department.
Students who do not comply may receive a Student Code of Conduct referral to the Office of Student Affairs. Immediately contact your instructor, who will work with you regarding your absence from class. In the event that you have COVID-19 or come into contact with someone who has COVID-19, please complete the
COVID-19 Student Intake Form on the Student Health & Wellness website.
