To Our Valued D-BAT Douglasville Customers,

We have been blessed to be a part of the Douglasville community for the last 12 years, but due to unrealistic demands from our landlord, our time in Douglasville will be put on hold.  Our current landlord is being represented by one of their partners that live in California, and they are trying to raise our rent to an amount beyond what we can afford. Negotiations have been going back and forth for several months with no resolution. We have been looking for other real estate, but unfortunately, at this time, we have not been able to find any other available real estate that fits both our physical and financial needs. The lasting impact of the pandemic had created financial challenges in keeping the business afloat, yet we felt as though those challenges could be overcome. However, with the increase in rent, it has put our business in an unattainable financial situation. We are and will continue to look for properties within the Douglasville community and surrounding areas. Our last day of service in Douglasville will be September 22, 2023. We will be merging our Carrollton location business with our Douglasville location in order to continue to serve as many of you as possible.

What does this mean for me, the customer?

We will be transitioning our staff and coaches to our Carrollton location.  This will allow us to retain each of our staff members, to try to minimize the impact on them.  From your standpoint as a customer, we invite you to join us at our D-BAT Carrollton facility.  We will be expanding the facility to accommodate the increase in members and trainers.  

Our main purpose has been to help the youth in our community reach their goals through baseball and softball.  For those unable to transition to the Carrollton facility, we will assist in making introductions to other local trainers to help you find the right fit, even if not within D-BAT.

Below you will find a link to a Google Form with how you would like to proceed with your membership.  We will cut off Membership Autopays as of September 16, 2023 through the Douglasville location.  We will help get your membership switched over to the Carrollton location, or another location that would help fit your needs.  Please complete the Google Form by September 22, 2023.

Your coach’s schedule at the Carrollton facility has been updated.  Your coach will be reaching out to you to determine your availability at that location.  If you are unable to transition, please let your coach know so that we can help refer you to another instructor in the area.

Again, we have been truly blessed by the support in Douglasville since 2012.  We will always cherish the relationships made and lives impacted during our time here.  We will continue to honor our partnerships with the local parks and recreation departments and organizations that also serve this community.  While our physical address will change, we will continue to be involved in the Douglasville community.
