Sexual Abuse Reporting and the Protecting Patients Act, 2017 
This legislation brought in several changes to how the College deals with matters of sexual abuse including reporting requirements for OTs and increased fines for failure to report. Learn about these requirements. 
 
October 1, 2017
New Privacy Breach Reporting Requirements In Effect 
If you are the health information custodian, you must be aware of changes to reporting that are in effect as of October 1, 2017. Find out about your obligations.
 
October 31, 2017
Quality Assurance (QA) Deadline
Self-Assessment (if required) and Prescribed Regulatory Education Program (PREP) are now due October 31, 2017. Learn about your QA requirements and the new MyQA
 
30 Days
Professional Liability Insurance (PLI) 
All OTs, regardless of area of practice or practice status, must have professional liability insurance (PLI) that meets the College's requirements and update their policy information within 30 days of a change. Find out what you need to know about PLI.
