Dear Hyla,

Wow - there's a lot going on. Now that the new year has happened - we are about to be in full swing again. Our new exhibit will open on January 23 instead of January 21. The art got stuck in the snow in Ohio. You will love it, by the way - over 500 students from around the US participated. They created art featuring the creatures (microscopic mostly) that live in caves and no where else in the world. We will have a reception for the exhibit on First Friday (Feb 7) but come anytime after it opens on January 23.

AND we are having a fund raising art sale. Instead of our normal galas and auctions, we are selling some art that has been donated to us over the years. It's very splendid and very reasonable in price. So come and see and buy. You'll be so happy to have some new art of your own and at the same time help support the museum.

This film was just created by Exhibition on Screen. It is getting rave reviews all over the world. I have friends who have seen it in theaters in large cities and they say it is stunning. Love Poems

As a very special treat for Valentine's Day - we have invited Georgia Churchill to tell stories. For 43 years she has been telling oral tradition tales from many cultures to people from ages 3 to 101. Studying mime, improv, various dramatic philosophies/techniques, and voice has taught her to bring the stories to life. She will be accompanied by two violinists, Natalie and Chloe. In addition, we will have normal poetry sharing with the optional theme: Love Poems.

The event is free – doors open at 6:30pm. (There will be chocolate!)

For the first time ever we are offering a season pass. If you purchase all six concerts - you only pay for five of them. Such a deal! Each musical offering is splendid and unique. You will want to see and hear all of them. (We promise)!
