Important National CCAA & Scholarship Updates
Dear National CCAA Members and Secondary School/Independent/Community-Based Counselors,

The COVID-19 crisis is affecting all of us, our school communities, and our daily work. We extend our prayers and thoughts as all of us grapple with difficult decisions on a daily basis.

The National CCAA encourages you to stay in touch with each other through this trying time. Reach out to colleagues to see how they are doing or share how your institutions are responding to the crisis. NACAC has started collecting information from college and universities about virtual campus visits, admitted students, and possible May 1 extensions in light of COVID-19.

  • National CCAA members: click here to submit your institution's information (it takes 2 minutes).
  • Secondary School/Independent/CBO counselors: Share this link containing the information provided by colleges and universities with students and parents to help them navigate the admission process during this time.

Also, the deadline to apply for our National CCAA Scholarship has been extended to Friday, March 27, at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time. Click here for more information about the scholarship and its application.

Undoubtedly, this is a trying time for everyone across the globe. I’ve never felt more grateful to be working in education, alongside supportive, generous and kind professionals aiming to confront this crisis with a deference for the social good of all people. And I know I speak for all of you at our member National CCAA institutions, that we feel fortunate to be serving at Catholic universities, guided by clear missions of social justice and the greater good, with long histories of resilience and fortitude.

Please take care of yourselves and, most importantly, take care of one another.

Best wishes,

 Tracy Manier
