Important News & Updates on COVID-19
Good Afternoon Members & Community,

The staff and board of directors of the Manistee Area Chamber of Commerce recognize that our state, our county, and our business members are facing difficult times and having to make hard decisions that are affecting our economy.

We want to make sure the Chamber is serving our membership by keeping you up to date with the facts and disseminating accurate information on the coronavirus. We have been in contact with local and state officials as well as the Michigan Chamber of Commerce to provide you the most reliable information as it's happening.

The Chamber will continue its mission in the weeks and months ahead.  We are supporting public health goals to minimize the coronavirus outbreak, and have decided to close the office to the public and are encouraging employees here at the Chamber to work remotely, conducting business via phone, email, or virtual meetings to keep our staff and community healthy.

This closure will be effective starting tomorrow Tuesday, March 17 until further notice.

We ask that you please contact us with information to share or if you need assistance with your business. We will provide business updates, such as restaurant delivery services, to keep our communities connected to allow commerce to move forward.

The Chamber will continue to actively share important information and resources as we receive it, along with posting and sharing on social media.

Remember we are all facing this together and encourage you to continue to support our local economy. We value you all as members!

Please visit the following business and public health resources for information and potential assistance and guidelines:

The Michigan Chamber of Commerce COVID-19 Toolkit - Summary of business resources, planning, and public health links.

Michigan Coronavirus Webpage - Provides up-to-date information from the State’s Community Health Emergency Coordination Center.

Thank you and please stay healthy!

President
