The recent market declines are getting a lot of media attention and may be causing concern. While periodic market declines are the necessary and normal price of successful investing, I understand that sudden market downturns — like those we’ve seen in the past few days — can be unnerving.

That’s why we wanted to share the following article that helps provide more perspective on these recent declines and puts them into context:

Upcoming Changes Affecting Our Client's Online Accounts!
On February 12, 2018 you will receive an email from our partner firm, Loring Ward announcing that they are enhancing their core technology system. This includes a new online portal where you can view your accounts, quarterly performance statements, and trade reports. You will see "envestnet.com" referenced in the email notifications. Please review your spam filters to ensure you receive these new emails.

The portal will go live on February 12. You will receive another email that morning from Loring Ward with instructions on how to log-in — including a temporary password. Once you have logged in, you will be prompted to set up a new password.

This new portal is extremely intuitive and mobile optimized, meaning you can access your information from any device. The system also provides a document vault where we can safely store important documents such as tax returns, financial plans, wills, etc...

A mobile app is also soon to follow.
