BUT WE NEED YOUR HELP

We are requesting that the government review its guidance in regards to charities that provide covid-related services as well as other vital healthcare services. This is a critical request because it will allow essential charities to continue their work and qualify for the equivalent of furlough via the government. We are urging all supporters to:

o Contact your MP via email using the suggested letter below.
o Ask them to call upon government to amend their guidelines regarding how furlough
applies so that charities like us can continue to provide support.
o Indicate that our organisation is essential and needs help to continue paying staff,
lending our support to our amazing NHS, delivering key services and helping patients
fight against the medical issues that COVID-19 has presented.
With your help, we can fund the fundamental services that we provide to patients.
Coronavirus Updates
With coronavirus (COVID-19) being the topic of every conversation, calls to our Arrhythmia Alliance, AF Association and STARS Helpline have more than tripled from worried patients and carers. To help you understand what is happening, we have developed a webpage where you will find everything you need including videos from specialists, resources, and links to up to date information. UK Government Guidelines

The information and advice given through our emails, calls and website are guided by NHS and Government guidelines. Please do not suffer in silence. We are here for you. Please be aware that you can spread the virus even if you do not have symptoms. Do not meet others, even friends or family.

New Fundraising Idea: "Calls For a Cause"

Interested in a fun new way to raise money?

Rachel, from our patient services team, previously planned to go out with her friends over the weekend before the COVID-19 guidelines came into place. So, instead of going out, she had a much needed catch up call online with her friends who all had drinks from the comfort of their own homes.

Why not do the same, and donate what you would have spent on a night out to us? Join us in "Calls For a Cause" and donate below:
