UW-Parkside in conjuction with Well Wisconsin have launched the Employee Wellness Challenge! The on campus challenge is centered around healthy lunch options and eating habits. There are several planned activities, including healthy lunch ideas, various activity sessions, and educational opportunities.
Employees attending the Healthy Lunches Seminars will receive a free lunch bag and water bottle!

Summer Session 2017!
Faculty summer session pay explained!
Summer session 2017 is almost upon us. The Human Resources team will be working with colleges to finalize assignments and distribute contracts. As a reminder, if you are working the summer session, pay over the summer is slightly different than during the academic year. HR has developed a training PowerPoint titled Summer Session Pay Explained which details how pay is distributed during the summer months. Following the link for more information.

Monthly LeaveReport Reminder!
Best practices for leave reporting to avoid a reduction in sick leave accruals!
All nine month employees should complete their leave reports for May prior to leaving campus. Nine month employees should also review their monthly leave report and submit any past due or outstanding leave taken information prior to the end of the academic year.

Mandatory Anti-Harassment and Sexual Violence Training Reminder!
All employees must complete training by June 30, 2017!
As a reminder, all employees are required to complete a web-based training covering the general topics of sexual violence and anti-harassment.
All employees should have received an email providing a link to the training through LawRoom. If you did not receive the email, or would like for us to resend the link, please contact Christine Heilgeist at 2220 or send an email to Human Resources.

UW System Compensation and Title study currently underway!
Proposed changes to the UW System compensation and titling structure is moving forward!
On February 17, 2017, the UW System selected Mercer as the vendor and consulting partner for the Title and Total Compensation Study. The study will cover three areas, including job titles and pay structure for Academic, Limited and University Staff; employee benefits for Faculty and all staff (except retirement and health), and employee leave programs for Faculty and all staff.
The Parkside Human Resources team will be working closely with UWP Governance as well as the UW System HR team to draft important updates and communications to share with the campus community. For more information about the study, please visit the UW System HR website.
