Dear Valued Customer,
We hope this message finds you in good health, especially following the recent earthquake.
To ensure the safety and well-being of both our customers and staff, please be advised that our Duke Street and New Kingston branches are now closed.
ALL other First Global Bank branches will close at 3:00 pm today.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused. Please remember that you can continue to bank with us remotely using our Global Access Plus online banking and mobile app during this time.
Earthquakes can be unsettling, especially given the potential for aftershocks or further seismic activity. With your safety in mind, we want to remind you of some important safety protocols. These are applicable whether you're visiting one of our First Global Bank locations or banking from home or work with Global Access Plus:
-
Drop, Cover, and Hold On: In the event that you feel the ground begin to shake, please drop to your hands and knees, find a piece of sturdy furniture to take cover under, or position yourself against an interior wall. Remain in this position until the shaking has fully ceased.
-
Stay Away from Glass: Keep a safe distance from windows, glass doors, and exterior walls to avoid the risk of injury from shattered glass.
-
Exit Safely: Once the shaking has concluded, and it is deemed safe to do so, cautiously exit the building, being mindful of potential debris or other hazards.
Your well-being is important to us, and we hope that you and your loved ones are safe.
Sincerely,
First Global Bank
