I PRAY, LET THERE BE LIGHT AND LET ME HAVE THE COURAGE TO FOLLOW THAT LIGHT.
A PRAYER FOR guidance is really a prayer for light, light for ourselves and light for others. Our lives are so interwoven that when one of us prays for guidance, the light that shines for us is bound to shine into many places and to be seen by many people.
Today as we pray for light, let us be grateful that we know where that light is coming from. Prayer prepares us to receive from God that which has been provided for us from the beginning, "the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world."
The light is shining, making clear our way. The light is shining, revealing that which is good, that which is orderly, that which means happiness for all concerned. The light is shining, and there are no longer any dark places in us or around us. We walk in the light. "We live in the light. We have the courage to follow God's light that shines for us.
Come, let us walk in the light of the LORD. ISA. 2:5.
