- The deadline for submitting Project Completion Forms (PCFs) and all required documentation has been extended to midnight on December 31, 2017. Please refer to the updated Terms and Conditions located on the Program Resources page available for download and use.
- Assessment Vouchers will no longer be offered for performing home energy assessments, and all existing vouchers have been paid out or have expired. Please contact your Account Manager if you have any questions.
Process Changes: The following project statuses have been added to further organize projects and shorten processing times.
- A new “SAV Ready” status was created to indicate that a project is going through our Service Account Validation process. As a reminder, the Service Account Validation (SAV) is a process to verify active utility accounts and to check for previous participation. Projects will be moved to this status during initial application reviews and after change orders; no action is needed from contractors for projects in this status.
- The new “SC3E. QA Review Complete” status indicates that a project has been reviewed by our QC team and is now awaiting final approval; no action is needed from contractors for projects in this status. The project can then move to “SC3C. Approved for Payment” if approved, or “SC3A. Additional Documentation Required,” if additional documents or data is needed from contractors for final approval.
Updated Program documents:
We have updated Program resource documents, which will be available for download from the
page on or prior to September 15:
Homeowner Terms & Conditions—This form has been updated with the December 31, 2017 deadline for submitting Project Completion Forms (PCFs) and the required documentation.
SoCalREN Whole Building Air Sealing (WBAS) Calculator — The calculator has been updated to match current Program requirements including the updated SLA and checkbox indicating that MV has been installed to meet Program requirements.
Please download and use this calculator to replace the previous version you may have — it is required for all projects requiring blower door testing. For projects reserved before September 15, if the new air sealing calculator negatively affects project eligibility or incentives, please contact your Account Manager to discuss the possibility of an exception. This update does not change the trigger for requiring mechanical ventilation.
