About the Gospel

The visit of the Magi occurs directly before the story of the Holy Family’s flight into Egypt. Matthew’s Gospel tells a version of Jesus’ birth that is different than the one in Luke. Merciful Help Center CommUNITY Care Day

January 13, St. Mary's in Anderson

The event is Friday, January 13 at St. Mary's in Anderson set up. We need LOTS of hands and people with lifting ability AND many to just organize and set up!

Saturday, January 14th is guest service. There are two shifts and lunch is included before or after your shift depending upon when you work!

Join us Sunday, January 29 at 7 PM in the church with world renowned Catholic scholar, George Weigel. He will be explaining how to understand the Second Vatican Council: why it was necessary, what it taught, and why implementing its teachings was so controversial and difficult.

OLMC School Applications

Are you or someone you know interested in attending OLMC School? The online application will be available on our website starting January 30, 2023. 

The deadline for priority consideration is February 12, 2023. We continue to offer both Full Day and Half Day Kindergarten options. To be eligible for Kindergarten, children must be age 5 on or before Aug 1.

Adoration Chapel Critical Need

We have a critical need for Adorers in our Perpetual Adoration Chapel. We currently have a few hours throughout the week where we have no one signed up to adore Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament.
