Office of Multifamily Housing Reorganization!

As the volume of projects submitted to OHFA has increased over the years, we made some changes to staff structure within the multifamily office this month to help balance workloads and become more efficient. Sam Makoski's role will be shifting from Planning and Policy Program Manager to 9% Housing Tax Credit Section Chief. The 9% team will also be taking on the HDGF program and the process of developing the QAP, HDGF, and HDL Guidelines will reside with Sam and her team.

Taylor Koch’s role will be shifting from the Housing Tax Credit Section Chief to the 4% Housing Tax Credit Section Chief. The 4% team will continue to work on the 4%-only and 4% BGF programs. The process of developing the BGF guidelines and more robust 4%-only guidelines will reside with Taylor and his team. Finally, our Architect, Mark Schluetz will be working directly with Rachel Nelson and the Project Administration team. This helps better align the teams performing the Architectural Review and Construction Monitoring processes. The annual update of the Design and Architectural Standards will be led by Rachel and Project Administration team.
