American Landscape Tours
Important Postponement Information for 2020 Spring Tours
I would like to thank all of our tour guests who have sent emails, letters, called us or stopped by the garden center with kind words, support and understanding letting us know you will be there when we return. It is a very humbling experience. I want to assure everyone we are fully committed to resuming our tours.”

  Dear Tour Guest,

Hope everyone is staying safe. Our world has certainly been turned upside down this Spring. I wanted to update everyone on the status of American Landscape Tours and our scheduled Spring 2020 tours.

First and foremost, American Landscape Tours is not going anywhere. We are fully committed to navigating through this difficult time and coming back stronger. With the full realization that our operations, as well as that of our motor coach company, the destinations on our tours, and where we dine, will not be the same.

The status of our Spring tours are as follows:

“Newport's Golden Age, Then and Now Tour” originally scheduled for May 3 rd was postponed to a date to be determined on March 17 th . This tour will be rescheduled for October of 2020 . A final determination will be made on September 1 st , when either a firm date will be selected, or based on current conditions at that time, there is a need to cancel this tour.

Regarding the “Little Women, an Insider's Tour” scheduled for June 18 th , the decision has been made to postpone this tour until October 2020. On September 1 st, a final determination will be made, and either a date for this tour will be announced or this tour will be canceled.

Between now and September 1 st we will be actively involved with state officials from Rhode Island and Massachusetts reviewing federal guidelines and working with our exclusive motor coach provider regarding the many positive changes being proposed. Also, interacting with each of the stops on the tours as well as our dining destinations. Safety has been and always will be our number one priority and will be the primary factor in determining if our tours will depart in October.

We have been in regular contact with Flagship Trailways owner Thomas V McCaughey. Flagship, like American, is committed to returning. American Landscape Tours is very proud to have Flagship Trailways as the exclusive provider of our luxury motor coaches. We originally selected Flagship years ago after researching many other motor coach companies. Flagship was the only company we felt comfortable with entrusting the safety of our tour guests. From the caliber of their drivers, the way they treat and respect their employees, the quality of their motor coaches and the way they maintain their equipment. Their dedication to safety far exceeds the industry standards. Flagship’s drivers have become part of our tour family and are loved by all our tour guests. We will be diligently working with Flagship throughout the summer. I have included a letter below from the owner of Flagship Trailways of Cranston RI.

Thomas V McCaughey, Flagship Trailways owner, will be a guest on Jim Zoppo's 9 am - 10 am Sunday Radio Show on 06/14/2020 (tomorrow) around the 9:30 am time-frame.

Going forward I will be providing regular updates as well as information from many of the destinations we have visited over the years regarding their reopening and specific protocols regarding visiting.

Should anyone have any questions, feel free to contact me at any time by phone or email. I look forward to seeing everyone "All Aboard" an American Landscape tour in the future.
