Dear Seniors and Parents/Guardians of the Class of 2021,

As everyone has worked to navigate through these last few difficult months, we understand the challenges all of our students are facing as they prepare to return to school, with you as our new Senior class being at the forefront as you begin to prepare and finalize your college applications. We are obviously here to help you with that process in any way that we can.

As we have monitored this process from afar this summer, we note that a number of SAT and ACT testing sites have been cancelling their testing administrations due to concerns with COVID-19. As a school, and a popular testing site for our students and others in Delaware County, it is something we have been weighing as well, with our priority, as always, being the safety and well-being of our entire community.

Only the SAT without Essay is being offered during this test day. The cost of the test for each student is $52 and will be billed to the students’ FACTS account. Due to the need to keep the students socially distanced, we need to identify how many rooms and proctors are needed sooner rather than later. Any student who wishes to take the SAT on Sept. 23 must complete the enclosed Google Form no later than Thursday, Sept. 10. Students who complete the form are committing to the test and the cost of the test. Refunds will not be made available.

The Google Form can be accessed here.

Once again, we encourage our seniors to take advantage of this opportunity to take the SATs, especially as we and other local schools are not able to guarantee our availability to offer standardized tests in the coming months.
Mr. William D. Gennaro, Jr.
Assistant Principal for Academic Affairs
