Dear Bradfield Families,

As we settle into the first month of school, it is imperative we focus on safety as we get our 594 Bronco families to and from our campus daily.

We ask that you follow these important and lawful rules:

• Per Texas Transportation Code and the Town of Highland Park's Code of Ordinances, jaywalking is not permitted where there are available crosswalks. You MUST cross at the designated crosswalks at Douglas & Southern as well as Armstrong & Southern.

• Do NOT cross Southern in the middle of the street walking to or from school.

• Use the detours on Livingston and Potomac until field construction is finished in October.

• All bikes and scooters must be walked until riders have crossed the crosswalks at Armstrong or Douglas in order to keep the sidewalks safe for all walkers.

In addition to following all safety laws when walking to/from school, we ask that you follow all parking ordinances as well.

• Do NOT park in handicapped parking spaces without a permit.

• Do NOT park in designated no parking zones.

• Parents on bikes and golf carts must also comply with parking rules.

We appreciate your attention to this matter and setting a great example for our children.
