Dear families,

As we navigate the unfolding situation related to the spread of COVID-19, we want to provide you with some important updates that impact our scheduled events for tomorrow, Friday, March 13.

Middle and Primary School Parent Teacher Conferences – Postponed
Classroom teachers and division directors are in the process of outlining plans for remote learning opportunities in the event that a school closure is recommended by Marin HHS. To give teachers time to prepare for the possibility of transitioning to meaningful remote learning opportunities in the event of a school closure, we are postponing all scheduled Parent Teacher Conferences tomorrow.   Some students may be sent home today with materials to help support the process of distance learning. Division directors will be in touch with you directly with more information regarding specific plans for each grade level.

JK-eighth grade childcare is still available tomorrow – contact Matt Penwell to reserve a spot.

As a reminder, preschool will be open for a regularly scheduled school day tomorrow.

MP&MS Drama Production – Haphazardly Ever After
Please note that we will be restricting attendance at these performances to the cast and crew’s immediate family members, MP&MS faculty, and sixth, seventh and eighth grade students only. We apologize for any disappointment or disruption this may cause, and we appreciate your understanding as we navigate this situation and act with an abundance of caution. The performances will be videotaped and we look forward to sharing these with our community for all to enjoy.
  • GREEN CAST performance – 2:00 p.m. in the Amphitheater
  • BLUE CAST performance – 5:00 p.m. in the Amphitheater

We continue to follow the guidance of the County of Marin Department of Health and Human Services and the Marin County Office of Education. In the meantime, please visit our dedicated webpage at https://www.mpms.org/about/coronavirus for all recent communications from us on this topic.

This is a challenging time for all of us, and we understand that new questions are arising every day. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
