Dolphin Days

October 15, 2026

Dear Most Blessed Sacrament Families,

Thank you to all of the parents and guardians who participated in Parent-Teacher Conferences today. Your presence, engagement, and commitment to your child’s education are deeply appreciated. We will continue conferences on Friday afternoon for those who still need to meet with their child’s teacher. If you have not yet scheduled a conference, please reach out directly to your respective teacher via email to arrange a convenient time.

Parent-Teacher Conferences are an essential part of the partnership between home and school. As a Catholic school community, we recognize that parents are the primary educators of their children, and it is through our shared commitment that students thrive academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. Open communication and collaboration ensure that we are all working together toward the same goal: the success, well-being, and growth of every child entrusted to our care. When families and educators unite in purpose, we strengthen the foundation upon which our students can flourish and become the people God is calling them to be.

As we journey through the month of October, the Church invites us to reflect on the Blessed Virgin Mary in a special way through the Holy Rosary. This is a wonderful time for families to spend a few moments together in prayer, asking Our Lady’s intercession for our school, our families, and our children. May we continue to grow in faith and trust in God’s loving guidance throughout this school year.

I would also like to extend my sincere gratitude for the tremendous support you provide to our students, our staff, and our school community. Your partnership, generosity, encouragement, and prayers make Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic School such a special place. Together, we are building a community rooted in faith, academic excellence, and service to others.

Please know that my door is always open. I value the opportunity to speak with our families and encourage you to reach out whenever you have questions, concerns, ideas, or simply wish to connect. Working together, we can continue to provide an exceptional Catholic education for every student.

May God bless you and your families abundantly.

In Christ,

Mr. David P. Stofa

Principal

Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic School

Counseling Corner

Our 3rd graders proudly wrote their first friendly letters to their pen pals! They carefully folded their letters, addressed their envelopes, and mailed them with excitement. As they eagerly await a response, they will also practice the valuable skill of patience. We look forward to watching our students build meaningful connections, strengthen their communication skills, and experience the joy of receiving a handwritten letter. ✉️😊

Our 8th grade students continued to work hard this week sorting donations and filling Box of Joy boxes with age- and gender-appropriate items. They demonstrated teamwork, responsibility, and dedication as they worked together to support this meaningful service project. We are proud of their efforts to bring joy to children in need around the world.

ANNUAL STUDENT UPDATE FORMS

Log into your PowerSchool Parent Portal profile and update your child(ren)'s information located under FORMS. This is so very important that we have your most recent address, phone numbers, emails, and contact information, as it syncs with our school notification system and allows us to pull necessary reports for medical purposes as well as emergency contacts. Failure to do this will result in missed communication.

Directions: (Complete for each child)

• Click on FORMS (located on the left-hand side)

• Scroll down to Student Update Forms

• Click on the first form entitled Demographics. You will then see a banner of the forms at the top, A1 through A9. ALL forms need to be completed.

• Be sure to complete the Family Survey Form, which enables the school to receive federal funds for services. This form is to be completed one per family.

• Please note: The Transfer Application Form is NOT PART of the Student Update Form.

On the Student Contacts Form, please enter/edit all contacts for this student. Mother and Father are considered contacts. Please enter up to 3 additional emergency contacts. Email addresses for those contacts who have "lives with" and "custody" selected will be sent to Bright Arrow for school notification. Please verify that you have entered the correct email address and phone numbers. If additional contacts need to be on the Bright Arrow notification but do not have the flags "custody" or "lives with", contact the school office. Please DO NOT remove any contact that has a contact type of Guardian.

Completing these forms is an integral part of the parent/ school relationship. Please do your part to ensure that your student is fully enrolled in the school. Please contact Mrs. Gunther at cgunther@mbscs.org if assistance with this process is needed.

Book are used in classroom ONLY. However, students are expected to be using the digital version of the book at home. BUT you CAN’T USE IT if you’re NOT registered. Emails were sent to EVERY family (many families have two email addresses) on Thursday. If it’s NOT in your Inbox, check your “JUNK” or “SPAM” folders. Please respond to it shortly as those emails WILL expire! FYI – We KNOW who the parents are who respond and who does NOT ! Please complete this simple task ASAP!

I personally draw your attention to our 3rd Annual Trunk-or-Treat. This is a GREAT & FUN activity and social event (NOT a fund-raiser) for our families and children. It is very well attended and in the past, we’ve had 25-30 cars involved. We’re hoping to make it even bigger this year. This year too, we will have 2-3 food trucks here for some extra fun. Consider participating as a “host” car! At the very least, bring the kids and have a blast visiting all of the other cars and get a night to meet & socialize with many of your peer parents. I personally love this event & look forward to it. It’s the highlight of my Halloween season!
