Masthead with words Solutions The Newsletter

August 23, 2026

Send announcements to newsletter@sage.edu.

What’s this? Solutions: The Newsletter is your weekly Russell Sage College student newsletter. You’ll receive it every Sunday night this academic year.

We admit it, it’s a long scroll — If Gmail shows a “message clipped” notice, click “View Entire Message” at the bottom to see it all.

Just so you know: If you unsubscribe from Solutions, you’ll miss all the messages the college sends through Constant Contact, which could include important info about graduation or academic deadlines. So even if you don’t read it every week, please let it land in your inbox anyway and just delete.

Important for This Week

  • Have a question this week? Stop by the Welcome Tents near the shuttle stops in Albany and Troy on Monday and Tuesday, where you can grab a snack and an answer. And you can always visit our Solutions team in the libraries of both campuses!

  • Parking and shuttles: We've analyzed parking pass sales and class schedules to make a plan around shuttle service and parking, but that doesn't mean human behavior won't change the game. Know that if things are bumpy, we'll adapt! And be sure to know all of your parking options by consulting our maps.

  • Albany Shuttle Stop: Note the new location on Union Drive, across from Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences' Athletic Field.

  • Completing your degree or certificate this term? You have to submit the Graduation Application (takes ~30 seconds) by Thursday, October 1. (This is NOT the commencement ceremony sign up.) Email DegreeClearance@sage.edu with questions.
