On December 23, Supra identified a solution to resolve intermittent issues with the eKEY. They implemented changes to the system, and they were successful for the majority of keyholders.

However, a small percentage of keyholders continue to experience access issues. If you continue to experience issues connecting with a Supra iBox BTLE, we recommend you try the following steps:
  • Turn off Bluetooth on their phone and then turn it back on. Attempt to open the box.
  • If restarting Bluetooth does not solve the issue, you may delete the current version of the eKEY app on your phone and reinstall from the device’s app store following the steps below.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, please contact Supra keyholder
support at 877-699-6787 for further troubleshooting of their specific situation.


INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO REINSTALL YOUR SUPRA EKEY APP

For an iPhone
The following steps should assist in resolving issues you may be having with obtaining a key or releasing a shackle on a keybox.

1. Open your phone settings and turn off Bluetooth service.
2. Uninstall and reinstall the eKEY application.
a. To uninstall the eKEY app from your iPhone please follow these steps:
• Go to the main screen.
• Tap and hold on the eKEY icon.
• The icons will "shake" and an 'x' will appear in the upper right of deletable programs. Tap that x and the application will be deleted.
b. Once you have you have deleted the eKEY app, you will need to reinstall the app to your iPhone.
• Open the App Store.
• Search for ‘supra ekey’.
• Download and install the app.
3. Once the eKEY app is reinstalled on your phone, open the app. Tap on ACTIVATE.
4. Enter your email address and the FOUR digit PIN you use to obtain keys from keyboxes.
5. You should receive an email with an authorization code link. Click the link and then click on the checks next to the EULA and Privacy Notification. Your key should update.
6. Once the key has updated, go to the phone settings and turn your Bluetooth service back on. Perform the obtain key function.


For an Android
The following steps should assist in resolving issues you may be having with obtaining a key or releasing a shackle on a keybox.

• Search for ‘supra ekey’ and select it from the search results.
• Select uninstall and the application will be deleted.
b. Once you have deleted the eKEY app, you will need to reinstall the app to your phone.
• Open Google Play.
• Search for ‘supra ekey’.
• Download and install the app.
3. Once the eKEY app is reinstalled on your phone, open the app. Tap on ACTIVATE.
