How to Authorize the Supra eKEY App

The Supra eKEY app must be authorized before it can be used.

How can I authorize my eKEY app?
Existing keyholders can obtain an authorization code from SupraWEB, Mobile
SupraWEB, or from your association/MLS Supra system administrator. New
keyholders obtain an authorization code from your association/MLS Supra system
administrator.
There may be a limit to the number of authorization codes that can be obtained each
week. If you reach your weekly limit of authorization codes, please check with your
association/MLS.

Authorize eKEY App:
The easiest way to enter the authorization code into the eKEY app is to open the email
or SMS text on your smartphone and click on link. This opens the eKEY app and
automatically enters the authorization code for you. Click on the EULA (End User
License Agreement) and Privacy Notice. This will open the eKEY App.
Tip! The authorization code for the current eKEY app is a 10-digit alphanumeric code
containing the letters A through Z and the numbers 2 through 7. If the character looks
like an O, it is the letter O and not a zero, and if it looks like an I, it is the letter I and not
the number 1.
You can also enter the authorization code manually:
1. Open the eKEY application.
2. Tap Activate eKEY.
3. Enter the authorization code.

Obtain an authorization code from Mobile SupraWEB:
1. On your smartphone, navigate to supraweb.suprakim.com. If the eKEY app is
installed, you may also select the SupraWEB icon.
2. Enter your key serial number, PIN, and select your association/MLS from the
dropdown list.
3. Select Login.
4. Select Authorization Code. The authorization code is emailed to your email address
on file with your association/MLS.

Obtain an authorization code from SupraWEB:
1. Go to supraekey.com.
2. Select Login to SupraWEB.
3. Login to SupraWEB. First-time login requires registering and setting up a user ID and
password, entering your key serial number, PIN, and selecting your association/MLS.
4. Select Authorization Code. The authorization code is displayed and is also emailed
to your email address on file with your association/MLS.

Legal Live: Prop 19

Proposition 19, The Home Protection for Seniors, Severely Disabled, Families, and Victims of Wildfire or Natural Disasters Act, altered the landscape for transferring one’s property tax base to another property or person.

A very favorable aspect of Prop. 19 is the expansion of the right of a 55+ homeowner to transfer an advantageous property tax base from the owner’s existing principal residence to a replacement residence purchased within two years of the sale of the old.

Some would argue that the favorable expansion of the replacement residence rules is balanced by the greater restrictions imposed on the ability of a parent/grandparent to transfer an existing tax base to a child/grandchild along with the transfer of the elder’s principal residence or other property.

Join C.A.R. attorneys to learn more about the impact of Proposition 19 such as: when it becomes effective; what new rules apply; wow to calculate the new tax base; what questions remain; and what this all could mean to you.

Millennials might do most of their preliminary real estate research online, from searching for homes to mortgage applications, but they still seek out the expertise and personalized attention that only a real-life agent can provide.
