Volunteer to help with a Cultural Museum at TEMS!
TEMS is hosting a Cultural Museum Day on Friday, May 10, 2019, from 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. We envision all types of books, activities, pictures, games, art, renowned quotes or people, religious artifacts or traditions, dances, videos and music from within the United States and from all around the world.
We are looking for parent volunteers to share cultural items and displays from to help teach our students about diversity and culture.
We will designate an area for you outside of the auditorium hallway for your displays. If you are unable to attend, maybe you can loan us some cultural items to put on display? If you have other ideas, please let us know. We can't wait to hear all the great thoughts that you all have about how to display culture and help us foster an appreciation for diversity and inclusion. Please contact Mr. David Hardy to volunteer or if you have any questions at hardyd@tesd.net.

T/E School Board Approves New School Start Times for 2019-2020 School Year
At its regular meeting on April 22, 2019, the Tredyffrin/Easttown School Board approved new school start times for the 2019-2020 school year.
New school start and end times for the 2019-2020 school year:

Throughout the 2018-2019 school year, there have been discussions about adjusting school start times at a number of Education Committee meetings and regular School Board meetings. The District carried out a survey to obtain feedback from current T/E parents, middle/high school students and staff members on the new 2019-2020 school start time option. For additional information on the history of the school start times decision and resources on adolescent sleep needs, please visit
www.tesd.net/starttimes. Between now and the start of the 2019-2020 school year, the District will be working on the adjustments needed for a smooth transition to the new start times. In the coming months, information about the new start times will be shared with parents through targeted communication from the schools and the District.
