Important Amiel Tours Travel Update

Whenever Israel faces a security situation, Amiel has consistently delivered accurate and reliable updates, and we remain committed to this practice.

Regrettably, the situation remains unchanged since our last update. Naturally, our concern remains for our brave soldiers who have been called up, and we hold onto hope that our prayers for the hostages will soon be answered, leading to their swift release.

The residents from southern Israel have been successfully evacuated and relocated to various hotels across the country. The nation is actively engaged, with widespread contributions and a heartfelt concern for their well-being.

Amiel also played a vital role in this effort. Oni Amiel, together with his friends, drove to Kibbutz Yavne, where he generously loaded his car with donations and transported them to the central logistics station of "Brothers in Arms."

Our team generously donated food, household items, clothing, and baby diapers to be distributed to the families evacuated from the Gaza Strip.

We did not stop there! We extended our support to travelers from other countries as well. Groups and individuals from the United States and Germany crossed into Jordan, where they received a warm welcome from our Jordanian partners. From Amman, they arranged flights for their journey back home.

In a heartwarming display of solidarity, a group of Japanese tourists chose to stay in Israel during these difficult days, and their departure took place a couple of days ago.

A group from Chile decided to finish their tour in Greece and enjoy the Mediterranean Sea from the “other side”.

On October 18, 2023, our profound gratitude continues as we host an unprecedented visit from the President of the United States, Mr. Joe Biden. During his visit, President Biden engaged in crucial discussions with Israeli leaders and esteemed dignitaries.

The German Chancellor, Mr. Olaf Scholz, demonstrated his unwavering solidarity with the people of Israel and arrived to Israel this week.

The spirit of international unity remains strong as we welcome the British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak. His presence will serve as another powerful testament of support. All through this past week, many government officials from different European countries arrived in Israel to reiterate their support.
