Dear Archway Trivium families,
Thank you all for your cooperation and patience as we work to improve our new drop-off and pick-up procedures.
Compared to last year, we are doing well and are moving along faster this year than we were last year on the third day of school. This is a process and we appreciate you partnering with us to learn and master the new procedure.
Our pick-up system requires that we all play a role in making sure all scholars get home safely. Students are in their classrooms ready to be dismissed, while teachers are either out at duty or dismissing students from their classrooms. And then there's you, our parents, patiently waiting for us to submit your number into our system to call your child to the proper waiting area. During pick-up our entire community is actively working together.
As you may have seen today, Goodyear Police were monitoring our pick-up procedures. Goodyear police officers were very generous and gave drivers warnings about blocking the intersection, as it is illegal to block an intersection. We have the opportunity to model great citizenship by abiding by the laws in place in our community. Goodyear Police has informed us that they will begin issuing tickets should this continue.
Beginning tomorrow, we will be closing the Archway parking lot entrance at Encanto Blvd. beginning at 2:30pm to prevent this from happening. Cars may not wait on Encanto to turn into the parking lot during this time. Our parking lot will be open from 2:00-2:30pm and will reopen at 3:00pm.
Thank you for your patience and partnership with us. We look forward to seeing you tomorrow.
Heartily Devoted,
Clay Scott
Headmaster
