Friends and Colleagues,

At Families Together, the health and safety of our communities has been on our minds as we monitor the fluid situation of the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) in the United States and in New York.  While we will be all working remotely, we do remain open for business and ready to work with you.
Our various state agencies and partners have issued guidance and we are taking these into consideration as we move forward.
Because there are  many variables, we want to avoid taking a blanket approach that ignores specific needs and issues, so we are approaching everything on a case by case basis.   While this requires a bit more dialogue with staff and partners, it affords us flexibility to make the best decision with the most current information.

To that end, here are a few decisions we have made.

 - In an effort to comply with the new guidelines set out by Governor Cuomo, and with uncertainty over when the restrictions will end, we have decided to cancel our annual conference, scheduled for April 26 & 27 th .    We look forward to hosting a fantastic conference next year on May 2 & 3rd, 2021 and will celebrate our 25th Anniversary together then!   If you have already registered for the conference, we will automatically begin processing refunds in the coming weeks. Hotel rooms can be cancelled by contacting the Albany Marriott directly.

-  We have increased our capacity to work remotely and will continue to provide webinars and other virtual learning opportunities.

-Through our website and weekly e-news, we will alert you to changes regarding other planned events and will provide additional useful resources.

Thank you for your continued advocacy and resiliency. Here at FTNYS we are working daily to ensure that the needs of families are being addressed and that your voice is represented.

Sincerely,

Paige Pierce, CEO
