Important Update on Golf Tourney Dinner and Annual Dinner Dance

The SLYC Golf Tournament at Wildfire is this Tuesday, August 6!

If you're not playing but would like to join us for dinner, or if you're playing and would like to stay for dinner, please purchase your ticket as soon as possible so we can get a proper handle on numbers.

Dinner is $85 per person (plus HST) and will be buffet style; menu items will include herb-roasted chicken, planko-crusted perch, pasta primavera, lemon-roasted potatoes and vegetable medley. Dinner starts at 6:30pm and there will be a cash bar.

For those playing in the tournament, here's the run of show for the day:

• 10:30am: Registration and warm-up
• 11:30am: Buffet lunch (included in entry fee)
• 12:30pm: Shotgun tee-off
• 5:30pm: Prizes and cash bar 
• 6:30pm: Dinner (registration required on CourtReserve, see link above)

WANTED: SIDE DISH SIDE HUSTLERS!

Speaking of dinners, we're hosting our annual Dinner Dance outside the SLYC clubhouse on Saturday, August 17.

Although appetizers, main course and dessert are all included in the ticket price, we're looking for volunteers to bring a large salad (Caesar, Kale, Greek, Garden, other) and/or a large appetizer, as well as help for set-up and clean up.
