Critical Update on MCCH Facilities
As described in this recent Washington Post article , MCCH evacuated our administrative offices and men’s emergency shelter, which were on the same campus as a Montgomery County owned-and-operated methane plant on the site of the county's landfill on Gude Drive in Rockville.

MCCH is working in temporary locations and working closely with Montgomery County to identify long-term solutions.
We Need Your Help to Prepare the Children We Serve for a Successful School Year!
Thanks to our generous community, our 2019 Back to School Fair  will be held on Tuesday, August 27th to benefit nearly 300 children served by MCCH who are no longer homeless, thanks to our  permanent housing programs.

With less than two weeks until this event,  we are still in need of school supplies and refreshments for the event. Buy online and ship donations directly to us or deliver them to our administrative office at 405 East Gude, Suite 209, Rockville 20850.

Will you help prepare the children we serve for a successful school year?  Sign up to donate ! Deadline to donate items is August 20th!

Trivia Night Brings Young Professionals Together
to Help End Homelessness!
Thanks to everyone who joined us for our Trivia Night fundraiser on July 23 rd! We were blown away by the support of young professionals in our community. We also want to give a huge thank you to our friends at Silver Branch Brewing Company for hosting this event and donating all ticket proceeds to MCCH, as well as additional donations from beer sold during the event.

If you missed this event and want to receive updates on future MCCH Young Professional events, please reach out to volunteer@mcch.net.
Donors Making a Difference
In our Urgent Needs Facebook Group , generous community members provide urgently needed items to MCCH clients. Many of these donations may seem small in the long run, but they can have a powerful impact.

In July, o ur Urgent Needs Task Force group provided over 25 items, including a new bedspread for a client who was ending his homelessness! Although it may seem like a small gesture, donating these items shows our clients that their community cares about them. When recovering from the trauma of homelessness, that reminder can be a glimmer of light in the darkness.

Join our Facebook group today to directly support MCCH clients by donating the items they need!
Thank you for your commitment to ensuring that all Montgomery County residents have a safe, stable and affordable place to call home!

Sincerely,
Susie Sinclair-Smith, Chief Executive Officer
Montgomery County Coalition for the Homeless and President of Coalition Homes
