Dear OCSA Families,

As was promised in last week's Weekly Wrap, we wanted to provide an update to all OCSA families regarding the review of our safety procedures that was conducted following a traffic incident that occurred last week.

Student safety remains a top priority, and with this in mind, we have revised the walking route that students use to travel to the Center for the Arts for their conservatory classes. This new, revised route will keep students on a less congested street with fewer vehicles and slower traffic. The new route will go into effect this coming Monday, February 6.

Students will no longer be permitted to cross Main Street at 8th Street. Instead, students will cross Main Street at 10th Street, and then walk the rest of the way down Bush Street to reach the Center for the Arts for their classes. OCSA security and staff members will continue to monitor students along the route to provide an additional level of supervision. Please see the map below for the detailed route.

Thank you for your attention to this important change, and thank you in advance to our students for following this new route in an orderly manner.

Sincerely,

OCSA Administration
