Due to the rising concern of the virus COVID-19, The Eden Prairie Chamber has been working with our partners, facilities and vendors over the past few days to plan on next steps for our 18 th Annual Home, Landscape, and Garden Expo. At this point, with the Governor’s announcement over the weekend, and confirmation from our host, Grace Church on their plans for events like ours, we are cancelling the expo that was planned for next Saturday, March 21st

The Chamber is disappointed as our goal for the event was to help our area businesses gain exposure to area residents and potential new customers, especially with the current state of affairs in our communities. However, we also know that safety and precautions need to be our top concerns for exhibitors and residents alike.

Please stay tuned as we work on a number of options including the possibility of rescheduling to a new date. Thank you to our supporters and sponsors: The Mustard Seed Landscape and Garden Center, AMEK, Champion Windows, Edina Realty - Cheryl Eastbourne, NexGen Exteriors, Inc., New Spaces Design-Build, New Windows and Bath for America, Plekkenpol Builders, Inc., Renewal By Anderson, SCHEELS, Sun Current Newspapers,, Tiger Plumbing, Heating, and Air, Von Companies.

Please call the chamber at 952.944.2830 with any questions.
The continued growth of cases of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) has resulted in numerous organizations implementing meeting and business event restrictions for their employees including many that traditionally send staff to our Twin Cities Young Professionals Summit. This factor, along with an abundance of caution and concern for everyone’s health as Minnesota sees its first cases, is what led to our moving the event date to August 14th. Our host sponsor, Cargill, is pleased to host us on the August 14th date and we are re-confirming our speakers.

Registration does remain open and we will continue to provide updates on speakers and activities we have planned for TCYP Summit. We look forward to hosting everyone for the event on August 14th. If you have any immediate questions, please call 952-944-2830.

Member Events and News
Dear PROP supporters,

At PROP, our number one priority is the health and safety of all the members of our community to provide and maintain a healthy food shelf for all. We are taking active measures to make sure everyone is safe, to play our part in the wider community effort to help slow the transmission of COVID-19, and to be able to serve our many families that rely on food and other critical services PROP provides.

NEW PROP PROCEDURES

All PROP services WILL be available. However, effective Monday, March 16, to limit the amount of face-to-face interaction, all services, including short-term financial assistance and our food operations will be conducted via phone. We have put into place a new system where clients will order food (via phone instead of in person) and then pick up their prepared and perishable food, same day, outside of PROP doors.

Our clients need us more than ever, and we believe these significant changes will help us keep our doors open, as well as limit the exposure for them, our volunteers, and our staff.
