C.A.R. Advises Members to Contact EDD for PUA Delays: C.A.R. has received numerous reports of delays from members who have submitted claims to the EDD for either Pandemic Unemployment Assistance or traditional unemployment benefits. Members who submitted their claims in late April, both before and after the PUA program went live on April 28, have reported not receiving any communication from the EDD regarding their claims. C.A.R. is not able to advise members on the status of their claims, and suggests members try to contact the EDD at 800-300-5616 (8 a.m. – 12 noon, Monday - Friday) for questions on their claims status or 833-978-2511 (8 a.m. – 8 p.m., 7 days per week) for general technical help and accessing their UI Online account.

PUA APPLICATIONS NOW AVAILABLE ONLINE. Here’s what you need to know.
